A. We are pleased to offer you our 1 year parts and labour warranty, which covers manufacturing defects in material and workmanship for our products. Please note that some items in our collection are meticulously handcrafted and mouth-blown by skilled artisans, and the occasional presence of small bubbles and imperfections reflects the craftsmanship and uniqueness of these pieces. This warranty is valid from the original date of purchase by the initial buyer.
B. Exclusions from this warranty include parts subject to normal wear and tear, such as lamps, fuses, brushes, ballasts, contact rings, lamp sockets, and belts. Additionally, damages or failures arising from abuse, misuse, faulty installation and operation, improper or inadequate maintenance, and other similar causes are not covered by this warranty.
C. To avail warranty services, the original purchaser must provide a dated proof of purchase.
D. Within the applicable warranty period, Lumm Inc. will, at its sole discretion, either repair or exchange a defective product covered under warranty at no cost, provided that the product has not been altered, serviced, or manipulated by any party other than Lumm Inc., except when prior written authorization has been obtained from Lumm Inc. No rights beyond those explicitly stated in this warranty will be granted, and no credit notes will be issued. This warranty does not cover any claims for consequential loss or damage.
E. All shipping charges for sending the product to us must be prepaid by the sender. Lumm Inc. will bear the cost of shipping the repaired product back to the sender, using the best available method at our discretion.
F. To ensure seamless warranty coverage, we kindly request you to fill out the registration card, scan or photograph with your phone and email it back to Lumm Inc. at info@lumm.ca, along with a copy of the dated proof of purchase. Products under warranty will be given priority for repairs. Please ensure you attach the proof of purchase to validate your warranty coverage.
To ensure top-notch service, kindly follow these straightforward steps:
1. REGISTER YOUR PRODUCT: Please complete and return the warranty card to register your product as soon as possible.
2. REQUEST AN RMA#: Before sending the product, please send an email to mark@lumm.ca or call 416-999-2001 to request a Return Authorization Number (RMA#). Please write the RMA# on all boxes. Sending a product without an RMA# is not advised.
3. ORIGINAL PACKAGING: Ensure units are returned in their original packaging, including all accessories. Do not alter the original box in any way. Any damage due to inadequate packing or carrier mishandling is the sender's responsibility. For returns, double-box the original box, using suitable packing materials like styrofoam peanuts or foam.
4. PREPAY SHIPPING CHARGES: The sender must prepay all shipping charges. If the product is still under warranty (proof of purchase required, please refer to warranty details), Lumm Inc. will return the repaired product to the sender at our own expense, utilizing the best shipping method at our discretion.
Please inform Lumm Inc. if your product is no longer under warranty when requesting your authorization number. After receiving the unit, you will be informed of the repair cost unless it is below $50.00 CAD, in which case the repair will proceed without seeking prior approval. Repaired unit(s) will be shipped back to you upon receipt of payment for all work performed and return freight charges.
All repairs carry a 60-day warranty on replaced parts and repair labor, valid from the date the repaired unit is delivered to the shipping agent for return to the customer. Lumm Inc. is not liable for any loss or damage to additional items or accessories sent with returned products. Please include only the product requiring repair.
While we strive to minimize shipping delays, we cannot be held responsible for them.
PLEASE NOTE: Defective products must reach the designated address by the last day of the relevant warranty period at the latest. Late claims will not be considered.
